This is the other side of the coin. As a purchaser, management wants to feel safe that what has been presented is reliable. Fractional CFO’s have the experience and expertise to carry out due diligence to review the target’s finances as well as the strategic fit, financial relationships and compliance with financial covenants and government filings and payments. We will also meet with the various financial stakeholders of the targeted business. A large part of the service here is interacting with the business’s lawyers and accountants to structure the acquisition in the best way possible for our client.
